En partant de la figure du héros de la Grande Guerre qu'il a été, ce numéro se propose de mettre en lumière l’œuvre d’Émile Driant alias le capitaine Danrit, auteur très populaire au début du XXe siècle, parfois surnommé le « Jules Verne militaire ». Un nouvel engouement se fait jour depuis quelques années pour ses livres, qui sont redécouverts en raison de leur côté attrayant (aventures, espionnage) mais aussi quelquefois prémonitoire eût égard au contexte géopolitique du début du XXe siècle.
