This volume continues to explore the different dimensions of resonance, as both a compositional and listening gesture, which calls for clarification regarding the relationship to the world that it induces. At the theoretical crossroads of sound ecology, phenomenology, and political sociology, resonance here is confronted with gestures that endlessly challenge its temporality in the constitution of a space. Amplification, establishment, feedback, and resonance offer extensions or counterweights to its obsessive and singular presence, which is always inscribed in a relationship – technical, interpersonal, cosmic, or ontological.
