Series supervised by Madeleine Descargues and Jean-Claude Dupas.
The Domaines anglophones series explores English literatures in their geographical and cultural diversity, including all literary genres and historical eras. The approach chosen is provided by the transdisciplinary problematics influencing the most recent research on the social realities, identity crises, historical and political logics as well as literary trends and traditions of the Anglo-Saxon world, world which, in the context of globalization and the broadcasting of knowledge via the internet, has become ubiquitous. Though it might seem familiar, this world remains outlandish to those who are not well-versed in its language, or rather in the diversity of its idioms and the multiplicity of its codes. The analyses developed in this series offer to the curious and learned French reader the keys to specialists' research, give access to straightforward sources and enable a better familiarization with and understanding of the always teeming Anglophone realm. In keeping with the spatio-temporal heterogeneity of its object, this series gathers both collective works and essays which reflect the most varied intellectual personalities.
