Les femmes au NPD : entre lobbying et antiféminisme ?
En septembre 2006 a été fondée une organisation des femmes du NPD, le „Ring nationaler Frauen" (RNF), qui a entre autres pour objectif de représenter les intérêts des femmes au sein du parti d'extrême droite. Une analyse systématique de la présence de femmes dans les bureaux, parmi les candidats et parmi les élus du NPD montre pourtant que, globalement, leur pouvoir formel n’y a guère progressé depuis. Le calcul et la prise en compte des évolutions depuis 1990 et en partie depuis la fondation du parti en 1964 confirment que la fondation du RNF n’a pas entraîné en la matière de tournant dans l’histoire du parti. La création des structures de l’organisation et le recrutement de membres ont également été peu couronnés de succès pour l’instant.
Le développement du RNF et une participation accrue des femmes rencontrent différents obstacles. Parmi ceux-ci figurent certaines faiblesses du parti (le nombre réduit de membres, la faible part des femmes parmi ces membres, les fréquents conflits de personnes ou entre courants…), mais aussi et en particulier son idéologie et les représentations de ses membres ainsi que le refus de toute forme de quota et d’une véritable promotion des femmes qui en découle. De nombreux acteurs veulent tout au plus démontrer que le NPD n’est pas un « parti d’hommes », donc changer la perception du parti et non pas le parti lui-même.

Die Frauen in der NPD : zwischen Lobbying und Antifeminismus ?
Im September 2006 wurde eine Frauenorganisation innerhalb der NPD gegründet, der „Ring nationaler Frauen“ (RNF), die unter anderem die Interessen der Frauen in der rechtsextremen Partei vertreten soll. Eine systematische Analyse der Frauenanteile in ihren Vorständen, unter ihren Kandidaten und unter ihren Mandatsträgern zeigt jedoch, dass die formelle Macht der Frauen in der Partei seitdem insgesamt kaum gewachsen ist. Wenn man die Frauenanteile seit 1990 sowie teilweise seit der Parteigründung 1964 errechnet und in die Analyse einbezieht, bestätigt sich, dass die RNF-Gründung in dieser Hinsicht nicht zu einer Wende in der Geschichte der Partei geführt hat. Der Aufbau der Organisationsstrukturen und die Mitgliederwerbung waren bisher auch wenig erfolgreich.
Der Ausbau des RNF und eine größere Beteiligung der Frauen stoßen auf einige Hindernisse. Dazu gehören verschiedene Schwächen der Partei (die geringe Mitgliederzahl, der geringe Frauenanteil unter den Mitgliedern, die häufigen heftigen Auseinandersetzungen zwischen Personen oder Strömungen…), aber auch und insbesondere ihre Ideologie und die Einstellungen ihrer Mitglieder sowie die daraus resultierende Ablehnung jeglicher Quotenregelung und einer wirklichen Frauenförderung. Vielen Beteiligten geht es höchstens darum, zu zeigen, dass die NPD keine „Männerpartei“ ist, d. h. das Bild der Partei in der Öffentlichkeit zu verändern und nicht die Partei selbst.

Lobbying and Antifeminism: Women in the NPD
The Ring Nationaler Frauen (RNF) was founded in September 2006. It is a women’s organization whose main objective is to represent women’s interests within the far-right National Democratic Party (NPD). Yet, a systematic analysis of women’s presence in the boards, but also among candidates and elected members of the NPD, shows that they have not gained much power overall. The evolution of figures since 1990, and to some extent since the creation of the party in 1964, has confirmed that the foundation of the RNF was not a turning point in the party’s history. Equally, the building of organizational structures and the recruitment of new members have not ensured a successful outcome so far.
There are several hurdles to the RNF’s development and women’s growing participation, among which some of the party’s weaknesses (low party membership, small number of women, enduring personal rivalries and ideological divisions, etc.) but also and particularly its ideology and modes of representation, as well as the consequent rejection of quotas and of promotion of women. Many members want to change perception of the NPD as a “men’s party", but not necessarily the party itself.
