<Text textformat="02" language="fre">&#60;p&#62;Dernier écrit de Miklós Zrínyi (1620-1664) adressé à la na-tion hongroise par celui qui fut en son temps son plus ardent défenseur, le &#60;em&#62;Remède contre l'opium turc&#60;/em&#62;, autrement intitulé &#60;em&#62;Antidote contre la paix du Turc avec le Hongrois&#60;/em&#62;, contient tout à la fois un appel au sursaut patriotique, un pamphlet de la noblesse hongroise et de sa jeunesse, veule et oublieuse de ses devoirs, et un projet d'armée nationale destinée à reprendre la guerre contre l&#8217;occupant, sans attendre le soutien illusoire des Habsbourg d&#8217;Autriche, trop enclins à conclure la paix avec l&#8217;Empire ottoman, ni des autres nations chrétiennes, indifférentes au sort de la Hongrie.&#60;br /&#62;
Prenant librement modèle sur un discours latin d&#8217;Augier Ghislain de Busbecq écrit au siècle précédent, Zrínyi fait du recours aux armes le seul remède aux malheurs de la Hongrie. Sa pensée inspirera les combattants des guerres d&#8217;indépendance menées aux siècles suivants.&#60;br /&#62;
Traduit pour la première fois en français, le &#60;em&#62;Remède contre l&#8217;opium turc&#60;/em&#62; est un document historique sur la Hongrie royale du XVII&#60;sup&#62;e&#60;/sup&#62; siècle, où le poète de la Zrinyiade se révèle sous ses qualités de chef de guerre et d&#8217;homme politique.&#60;/p&#62;</Text>
