Collection de contes et de légendes, Le Crépuscule Celtique constitue les "Souvenirs d'enfance et de jeunesse" de W.B. Yeats. S'inscrivant dans le courant général d'intérêt pour le folklore, il a donné son nom à une époque. Ancrés dans la réalité irlandaise et pénétrés de surnatuel, ces récits tissent ensemble l'humain et le surhumain qui se marrieront de la même façon dans les mythes de la poésie à venir.


Après Per Amica Silentia Lunae et Explorations, voici la traduction du Crépuscule Celtique de William Butler Yeats (1865-1939). Le volume, dirigé par Jacqueline Genet, professeur à l'Université de Caen, auteur de William Butler Yeats, les fondements et l'évolution de la création poétique, est l'oeuvre collective du Centre de Recherche des Pays de Langue Anglaise de l'Université de Caen. C'est le huitième de la série "Traduit de l'Irlandais" sous la direction de Patrick Rafroidi.
